Following the critical acclaim and record-breaking ticket sales and attendance of Festival 2015, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival announces a new season of exciting programming featuring international artists, world premieres, and an impressive number of live music engagements. This season signals an exciting new era in Pillow history, as the Board of Directors plans to name a new Jacob's Pillow Director in early 2016. Former Executive and Artistic Director Ella Baff stepped down from her role in September of 2015, following a successful 17-year tenure.

December 1, 2015 – Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Symphony & Opera will present its annual holiday family tradition, Home for the Holidays, on Saturday, December 19 at 7:30pm and Sunday, December 20 at 3:00pm at the Tivoli Theatre. The CSO's annual holiday program returns to its roots with traditional holiday fare, featuring special guest vocalist and Chattanooga native Scott Coulter, star of the Emmy-nominated PBS Special A Christmas Carol: The Concert. Coulter will perform songs such as “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year”, “O Holy Night”, and pieces from A Christmas Carol.

Hook & Eye Theater is proud to announce its fourth season of Instant PlayLabs. Beginning in January 2016, the company will open its doors to artists of every discipline (on a first come/first served basis) for three nights of creative generation. Each PlayLab will focus on an aspect of their newest show, which is a collaborative elaboration on America's National Parks and the She-She-She camps initiated in 1933 by Eleanor Roosevelt as an answer to the Civilian Conservation Corps.

Nevada Ballet Theatre (NBT) is proud to present A Balanchine Celebrationas the Company's opening performance at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts for its 2015-2016 season. Each piece will be accompanied by a full orchestra featuring members of the Las Vegas Philharmonic, under the direction of guest conductor, Leif Bjaland. Performances will take place on Saturday, November 7 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, November 8 at 2 p.m. with tickets starting at $29. The Palmer House Hilton is proud to announce dinner, dancing and an all-star performance in celebration of the centennial of Frank Sinatra's birth, Saturday, Nov. 28 in the legendary Empire Room within the Palmer House Hilton, 17 E. Monroe St. The event begins at 6 p.m. with a cocktail hour followed by, a three-course gourmet dinner with choice of entrée, and wine service then a special “Tribute to Frank”  featuring Chicago's top cabaret performers Joan Curto, Shelley MacArthur, Paul Marinaro, Beckie Menzie, Tom Michael, and Johnny Rodgers. Palo Alto Payers, the Peninsula's first theatre company, presents CHICAGO, a brilliant musical satire that brings you the razzle­dazzle music of vaudeville, show­stopping dance numbers - and all that jazz! Written by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, with music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and based on the play by Maurine Dallas Watkins, CHICAGO is the winner of six Tony Awards. CHICAGO will play for 11 performances, tonight, September 11, through September 27, 2015 at the Lucie Stern Theater located at 1305 Middlefield Road in Palo Alto.

A product of the 1933 Warner Brothers film, 42nd Street didn't hit the stage until 1980. It was then that the production won the Tony Award for 'Best Musical' and is currently Broadway's 14th longest running show. Since, it has had success all over the world and last night saw a cast of sixty young people tackle the show at the New Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham as part of Stage Experience.

The fifth play in the third season of Asolo Rep's five-year American Character Project illuminates a sect of wealthy, early 20th-century American women who yearned for the pomp and circumstance - and parties - of the British nobility. BWW Review: A Rare Performance of FROM BERLIN TO BROADWAY WITH KURT WEILL Opens at the White Theatre

From Berlin to Broadway with Kurt Weill made its journey to the Kansas City theater scene with the opening Saturday night February 14 at the White Theatre located at the Jewish Community Center in Overland Park. The White Theatre celebrates two first on their stage with Paul Hough directing the debut of From Berlin to Broadway with Kurt Weill and the first time the musical appeared at the theater. Hough directed the play in Los Angeles in 1985, winning the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for Production and Direction. Hough was Director of Production for the American Heartland Theatre from 1996 until it closed its doors in 2013.

Gods and Monsters, directed by Russell Labey, produced by Danielle Tarento, will receive its world premiere in a five-week season now through Saturday 7 March. Press night is 10 February.
