Nashville Children's Theatre (NCT) this week revealed its 2019-20 season replete with rock and roll, history, holiday magic, current events, interactivity, musicals, classics and more. NCT, the nation's oldest professional theatre for young audiences and the largest theatre in Tennessee will perform seven shows during its 2019-20 season, including both world and regional premieres.

POTTED POTTER, a Harry Potter parody play by Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, returns to Houston, this time starring Brendan Murphy and Scott Hoatson.

The Warner Theatre will present its 7th Annual International Playwrights Festival held in the Warner's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre on October 12 and 13, 2018. The mission of the International Playwrights Festival is to recognize the work of emerging and established playwrights and to build a link between the playwrights, the theatre community and our audiences.

This May, Mikron Theatre Company will mark the 100th anniversary of women in the UK being allowed to vote, with the premiere of Revolting Women -Vashti Maclachlan's new play about the suffragette story as seen through the eyes of the political activist and campaigner for women's rights Sylvia Pankhurst.

Portland Stage is pleased to present Babette's Feast, running Jan 23 through Feb 18 on the Mainstage. This production of Babette's Feast was conceived and developed by Portland Stage Affiliate Artist Abigail Killeen in a process that began over a decade ago. The New School's College of Performing Arts presents the sixth edition of (Un)Silent Film Night, a performance series in which The College of Performing Arts Theater Orchestra performs live music to classic silent films. Previous events in the series hosted by Matthew Broderick, Bill Irwin, Rob Bartlett, and Ed Rothstein, have drawn capacity crowds to the 400-seat Tishman Auditorium at The New School.

On Wednesday, September 20 and Thursday, September 21, Southern Utah University will host several events in celebration of the life and achievements of Cedar City native, Helen Foster Snow.

Today, we very proudly shine the spotlight on PSM Daniel Brewer, the dean of production stage managers in this region, and the resident stage manager at Nashville Children's Theatre. In 2011, he was among that year's First Night Honorees in recognition of his truly exceptional career and for the grace and skill with which he does his job. In fact, we wouldn't be at all surprise to find his headshot next to the very definition of "stage manager" in reference books.

London's Dominion Theatre, home to Christopher Wheeldon's stunning reinvention of the Oscar winning Hollywood musical An American in Paris, has completed a £6 million restoration and unveils a brand new double-sided LED screen on Tottenham Court Road, the largest and highest resolution projecting screen on the exterior of a West End theatre.

The Warner Theatre has announced its 2017-2018 Warner Stage Company season.  The Main Stage season opens in November with AVENUE Q and follows with ONCE, THE FULL MONTY and Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID.

It was just announced by Pulitzer Prize administrator Mike Pride that Lynn Nottage's SWEAT has officially won the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. 

The Warner Stage Company will present the hilarious yet beautifully touching play, CALENDAR GIRLS in the Nancy Marine Studio Theatre March 11-19, 2017.  It is based on the true story of eleven Women's Institute members who posed nude for a calendar to raise money for Leukemia & Lymphoma Research.
