Theatre Exile will close their 13th season with the Philadelphia premiere of Shining City by Conor McPherson, the award-winning playwright of The Weir and The Seafarer, on April 25th. The production is directed by Exile's associate artistic director Matt Pfieffer.
The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson) will continue its popular Shakespeare Salon series on Thursday, April 22 at 6 p.m. with Shakespeare Initiative Director Barry Edelstein and acclaimed director Daniel Sullivan discussing the upcoming Shakespeare in the Park production of The Merchant of Venice, featuring Al Pacino as Shylock.

American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) will end the return of three acclaimed artists to its stage: Academy Award winner Olympia Dukakis (Steel Magnolias, A.C.T.'s Hecuba) and beloved Bay Area veteran actor Marco Barricelli's return to A.C.T. in a delightfully mordant comedy written and directed by Morris Panych (A.C.T.'s The Overcoat) on April 18th.
