Based on the story "The Little Match Girl" by Hans Christian Andersen

On New Year's Eve, an over-worked and under-inspired single guy who's had enough of holiday cheer makes a resolution: to stay home and go to bed early. But his reclusive evening is interrupted by an eccentric young woman selling special "full-spectrum holiday light bulbs" to combat Seasonal Affective Disorder. Though her intervention and Hans Christian Andersen's story of The Little Match Girl, our protagonist finally begins to pull out of his funk.

Print Room at The Coronet Announces Autumn 2016 Season

Artistic Director Anda Winters today announces Print Room at the Coronet's forthcoming season running through until December 2016. The season opens with Tennessee Williams' A Lovely Sunday for Creve Coeur, directed by Michael Oakley. Washington State native Trisha Brown is considered the most widely acclaimed choreographer of the postmodern era. For over 50 years, she pushed the limits of choreographic movement, changing modern dance forever. At 79, Trisha Brown has choreographed her last dances. In celebration of her life's work, Trisha Brown Dance Company returns to the choreographer's home state to perform the final performances of her works for the proscenium stage as part of a retrospective presented by University of Washington's World Series at Meany Hall.
