Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full cast and creative team for Paradise Square: An American Musical. The world premiere is helmed by acclaimed director Moises Kaufman, with choreography by the legendary Bill T. Jones and a book by Marcus Gardley, Craig Lucas, and Larry Kirwan. Music by Jason Howland and Larry Kirwan, with lyrics by Nathan Tysen, and based on the songs of Stephen Foster. Paradise Square is produced by special arrangement with Garth H. Drabinsky in association with Peter LeDonne and Teatro Proscenium Limited Partnership.

Following the critically acclaimed success of its inaugural presentation of The Secret Garden in Concert, Podium Concert Productions will proudly present the Tony Award-winning musical Nine in Concert, at Trinity-St. Paul's Centre for the Arts on January 12 and 13, 2018. Starring Stratford Festival veteran Juan Chioran, this limited engagement concert also features a world-class orchestra of 23 musicians, hand-picked and led by Mark Camilleri, to accompany 15 of Canada's brightest stars of stage and musical theatre and an ensemble of rising stars from Etobicoke School of The Arts. The Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) will present its sixteenth annual All-City Musical, MEMPHIS to crown the District's 2014-15 series of All-City Arts Programming. The production features the talents of nearly fifty CMSD students from across the District and will take place on the stage of the Ohio Theatre at Playhouse Square, this weekend, May 22 - 24, 2015. Tony Sias, Director of Arts Education / Cleveland School of the Arts Artistic Director for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, co-directs the production with the CMSD All-City Arts Program's Managing Director, Kimberly Brown.

Now according to the New York Times, the musical is having trouble raising the funds to open on Broadway.

Now in an interview with the Washington Post, Prince revealed that the show will soon premiere at Tokyo's Umeda Arts Theater and will hopefully move on the Broadway after.
