Cantonese Opera x Children's Interactive Theatre: Dic Dic Chang Chang Playground at TheSpace @ Niddry Street

Dic Dic Chang Chang Playground is an award-winning interactive production written and directed by Musette Tsang that introduces children and families to Cantonese opera through drama, live music, and audience participation. The story follows two young guardians of Cantonese Opera Land, Captain Dic Dic and Chang Chang, as they battle a puppet tyrant known as the Boring King with the guidance of the Cantonese Opera Fairy. Cast members include Musette Tsang, Henry Cheng, Ng Wing Ha, Ng Man Ting, Chan Yeuk Yu, and Cheung Siu Lun Roy. This is the production's third and final consecutive year at the Edinburgh Fringe, having received the Asia Art Special Award Runner-Up at the Asian Art Awards 2024 and Best Production at IC Award 2025.
