Tell us a bit about Generation Hummus.

Generation Hummus is an exhausted, bland mush of information and apathy. It's also the only way to cope with the world; retire with a pot of hummus, then the world makes sense. The show is a bunch of jokes and stories that exist within this world.

Why bring it to Edinburgh?

I have no idea. I try very hard not to think about that question. To wow the comedy world with my hilarious ramblings? Because I crave humiliation? Because Edinburgh will eat me up like so much warm, crusty hummus?

What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?

It's very escapist. There's no politics or relationship stories. It's witchcraft, having sex with plants and what jobs are available to cartographers.

Who would you recommend comes to see you?

Everyone who enjoys a bit of silly - which is everyone. But mainly anyone who wants to hear escapist jokes about witchcraft, having sex with plants and cartographers. And cotton buds.

Are there any other shows you're hoping to catch at the festival?

Loads! Sara Pascoe, Demetri Martin, Jordon Brookes, Richard Gadd, Alexei Sayle, Jerry Sadowitz, Richard Herring, Gein's Family Giftshop... and more I can't think of right now.

Timings and ticket information for Generation Hummus are available on the edfringe website.
