Tell us a bit about Total Eclipse of the Art.

It is an arty farty show about arty fartists. By which I mean, it's a show about art, made up of an hour of parody songs on the subject - like a longish concept album, with bits of chat between songs.

Why bring it to Edinburgh?

Because Edinburgh is ready.

What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?

I don't think there are any other shows which have quite so many songs about art. It's a really unique blend of music, comedy and stand-up, and the jokes are not the usual jokes about art because I happen to like modern art. I don't make fun of Jackson Pollock or anything.

What kind of songs can we expect to hear?

My renditions of 80's classics, mostly. You'll hear some ABBA, some Kate Bush, Bonnie Tyler, Cindi Lauper...

Who would you recommend comes to see you?

Old people.
