Runaway Stage Productions to Present YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, 1/3-26
From the creators of the record-breaking Broadway sensation The Producers comes this new monster musical comedy. A wickedly inspired re-imagining of the Frankenstein legend based on Mel Brooks' classic masterpiece film, the story follows bright young Dr. Frankenstein (that'sFrankensteen) as he attempts to complete his grandfather's work and bring a corpse to life. With such memorable tunes as "The Transylvania Mania," "He Vas My Boyfriend" and "Puttin' On The Ritz," The New Mel Brooks Musical YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN is scientifically-proven, monstrously good entertainment... and the only place you'll witness a singing and dancing laboratory experiment in the largest tuxedo ever made.
The RSP cast features Sacramento favorites David Holmes (How to Succeed) as Frankenstein, Amy Jones as Inga, Eduard Arakelyan (Wizard of Oz) as Igor, Ruth Phillips (9 to 5) as Frau Blucher, and Michael Cross as the Monster. Bob Baxter directs, Darryl Strohl choreographs, and Deann Golz directs the RSP Resident Orchestra.
