The Princess Bride: An Inconceivable Evening With Cary Elwes Comes To Providence

An inconceivable evening is coming to The VETS! Join Cary Elwes, who played the heroic Westley in The Princess Bride, in a behind-the-scenes look at life on and off the set of the classic movie. The evening will consist of a screening of the classic film followed by a moderated discussion with the star on classic scenes, revealing never before shared secrets and tales of inconceivable antics! Journey back to the lands of Florin and Guilder; filled with adventure, romance and intrigue (and let¹s not forget Rodents of Unusual Size!)

The Princess Bride has been a family favorite for close to three decades. Ranked by the American Film Institute as one of the Top 100 Greatest Love Stories and by the Writers Guild of America as one of the Top 100 Screenplays of All Time, The Princess Bride continues to resonate with audiences young and old.

The Princess Bride: An Inconceivable Evening with Cary Elwes will play The VETS on Friday, November 2nd at 8:00pm. Tickets are $69.50-$29.50 and can be purchased by visiting www.TheVetsRI.com; by calling (401) 421.ARTS (2787); or in person at the PPAC/The VETS box office located at 220 Weybosset St. in Providence. A limited number of VIP packages are available and include the best seats in the house, a meet and greet with Cary Elwes and a copy of Cary Elwes best-selling book, As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales from the Making of The Princess Bride.

The VETS is located at One Avenue of the Arts in Providence. The VETS on-site box office is only open on show days.
