The Sandra Feinstein-Gamm Theatre (The Gamm) invites arts supporters and the general public to The Scarlet Affair. This red- and romantically themed party, chock full of irreverent entertainment, with a splash of sophistication, marks the non-profit theater's seventh annual fundraising event.
The Scarlet Affair will be held on Saturday, April 18, from 7-10 p.m. at the historic Pawtucket Armory, 172 Exchange St. Tickets are $125 per person, including an open bar, complimentary raffle ticket and more; or $40 per person, including a cash bar. Call 401-723- 4266, ext. 16 for tickets or information.

Lip-smacking cocktails, danceable tunes, scrumptious fare and non-stop cheeky entertainment! Coline Covington, president of the Gamm board of directors, said she is anticipating an uncommon evening of "saucy, spectacular fun." Guests are encouraged to dress in red or black, funky or formal attire.

Guests will enjoy an array of epicurean fare and signature cocktails. The drill hall of the armory,
festooned in shades of red and reconfigured into several rooms including a library, a banquet hall, a ballroom and a lounge, will serve as a venue for torch singers, roving costumed hosts and a "red light" district housing tongue-in-cheek "peep shows".

The general public is invited to participate in a red- and/or romance-themed online auction at gammtheatre.cmarket.com April 1 and closing on April 25. Enticing items include romantic get-aways, sports memorabilia, tantalizing jewelry, sexy lingerie, body-sculpting packages, gourmet dining experiences and more!

Proceeds from The Scarlet Affair- a nod to The Gamm's season ender, Phyllis Nagy's adaptation of Nathaniel Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter-will help pay for the non-profit organization's artistic and educational programs during its upcoming 25th Anniversary Season.

"The Scarlet Affair will undoubtedly be a great way to launch our final production, The Scarlet Letter, and celebrate the winding down of another successful season in Pawtucket," said Gamm Artistic Director Tony Estrella. "Even more importantly, it will help us wind up for our
landmark 25th Anniversary Season by raising funds for a banner year on our main stage and in our humanities and educational programming."
