FESTIVAL51 Seeks Submissions from Female Playwrights; Deadline 5/8

Festival51, a Rhode Island-based original works play festival focused on developing works for female writers, seeks submissions for inclusion in the Festival51.

Women's Playwriting Festival to take place July 31 - August 15, 2015.

All plays will be fully staged and produced at Mixed Magic Theatre's performance space in Pawtucket, RI.

Deadline for submissions is Midnight, May 8th, 2015.

All submissions for Festival 51 are subject to the following criteria and conditions:

- Scripts must be by female authors.
- All scripts must be submitted no later than Midnight, May 8th, 2015 to be considered for inclusion in the Festival. - - Candidates will be selected by May 15th, 2015.
- Running time must be between 30 and 90 minutes.
- Plays must contain a *maximum* of 7 characters.
- Must be an original work, *not* an adaptation or translation.
- No children's plays.

- If mailed, scripts must be unbound
- Scripts will not be returned
