ESCAPE, A NEW MUSICAL
Adam has always had trouble facing reality. Instead of dealing with it, he has lived his life by taking refuge in a fictional fantasy world of his own creation - Ealuria - whenever he is faced with an uncomfortable situation. One of the few friends he has, Ethan, is the only one in his life who knows about Adam's fantasy world, though not a lot of effort has been made to change Adam's mindset. In an attempt to get more involved, as opposed to living his typically barren schedule, Adam joins the Prom committee and makes friends with Olivia, an overwhelmed and hardworking girl with as good a heart as they come. The adults in his life push him to be more open to activity, perhaps because he's about to face some tough obstacles that he can no longer hide from. He is faced with deciding between the struggles of real life and the happiness of a fairytale.
