Educating Rita at Peter's Alley Theatre Productions

Peter’s Alley opens its 4th Season with Willy Russell’s Educating Rita. This “two-hander” centers on Rita, a bright Liverpool hairdresser with a thirst for knowledge and her reluctant tutor, Frank, whose own thirst has turned to more to drink instead of teaching.Rarely produced in the states, the British comedy turns 35 this year but it has not lost a bit of its wit, or relevance. Many remember fondly the successful film version starring Michael Caine released in 1983.
