San Francisco Playhouse announced casting for Follies by James Goldman and Stephen Sondheim. The musical will run on the San Francisco Playhouse Mainstage from June 30 through September 10, 2022. Bill English will direct, with music direction by Dave Dobrusky and choreography by Nicole Helfer. This marks the first fully staged professional production of Follies in San Francisco.

South Florida Symphony Orchestra (SFSO) will present its annual gala to benefit its artistic, community engagement and education initiatives - including the impactful Symphony in the Schools children’s program - on Wednesday, February 16, at 6 p.m., at Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Writer Reuben Johnson's new re-imagining of this classic tale will take place outdoors in the beautiful gardens of the Actor's Church and features spoken word, original songs and is led by a cast of actor-musicians. Arthur/Merlin will run from 4 August – 22 August.  

From 7-10 July, Pitlochry Festival Theatre's open-air amphitheatre will première a new stage adaptation by the theatre's Artistic Director, Elizabeth Newman, of Fyodor Dostoevsky's 1848 short story, White Nights: A Sentimental Story from The Diary of a Dreamer.

Shaped by von Oeyen's experience of lockdown, this solo recital, recorded in France in September 2020, comprises Bach's eight-movement Overture in the French Style BWV 831, Beethoven's Piano Sonatas No. 13 in E flat and No. 23 in F minor, “Appassionata,” and and two Bach arrangements by Wilhelm Kempff.

The Cincinnati May Festival has announced program details and artists for the 2021 Festival with five performances taking place between May 21 and 30, 2021 at Cincinnati Music Hall.  Principal Conductor Juanjo Mena will conduct two performances each of two separate programs with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.
