Features many of the Lionel Bart penned pop singles released between the start of his professional writing career in 1956 and 1962 as well as pop covers of songs from his hit shows including Oliver!, Things Ain't What They Used To Be and Blitz!. Tracks in their original single versions (in stereo where possible), alongside selected studio cast LP recordings and recordings by Bart himself, under his own name or hiding behind a pseudonyms such as Ocher Nebbish. Features many recordings that have never been released on CD before, including rare singles by Billy Dainty, Dickie Loader, and the Barry Sisters.
