Written by Robert Cary and Jonathan Tolins, and directed by Michael Arden with Music Director Mary-Mitchell Campbell, Get Happy celebrates the life and artistry of the legendary Judy Garland.

To commemorate Judy Garland’s centenary in June 2022, Avid Entertainment Ltd just announced the release of the double-CD set, Judy at Carnegie Hall, on February 4, 2022. Based on the best-selling and Grammy Award-winning LP of the same name, the set presents her historic concert at Carnegie Hall, New York on April 23, 1961.

On this day, we're celebrating the birthday of Ethel Gumm, better known to Broadway and film fans as the incomparable Judy Garland. 

2x GRAMMY Award-nominated singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright has announced plans for another landmark virtual concert event. Rufus Does Judy at Capitol Studios will see Wainwright performing his groundbreaking 2007 tribute to Judy Garland, Rufus Does Judy at Carnegie Hall, in its entirety, live from Los Angeles' famed Capitol Studios.

Wainwright’s latest album, “Unfollow The Rules” is nominated for a Grammy but it’s his unique audio autobiography, “Road Trip Elegies,” a conversation with his therapist on a road trip from Montreal to New York City, that delivers insight about his musical journey and the relationships that shaped him and his music. 

Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright recently performed “Unfollow the Rules: The Paramour Session,” a concert performed acoustically with a socially distanced string section, piano and guitar to accompany him.

Rufus Wainwright is set to release an A/B side 7' EP, Come A Little Bit Closer, on November 29, Record Store Day Black Friday.
