The Original Broadway Cast Recording for the new stage production Honeymoon in Vegas was recorded October 13, in New York City, and produced by composer and three-time Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown and Emmy Award winner Jeffrey Lesser. Honeymoon in Vegas: Original Broadway Cast Recording will be available digitally and at the Nederlander Theatre in time for the musical's November 18, first Broadway preview performance and at nationwide retail January 13, 2015.
Honeymoon in Vegas, the eagerly anticipated new musical with book by Blazing Saddles and Fletchwriter Andrew Bergman and score by Jason Robert Brown will begin previews on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street). The production is directed by Gary Griffin, and choreographed by Denis Jones.
Honeymoon in Vegas tells the story of Jack Singer (Rob McClure), a regular guy with an extreme fear of marriage, who finally gets up the nerve to ask his girlfriend Betsy (Brynn O'Malley) to marry him. But when they head to Las Vegas to get hitched, smooth talking gambler Tommy Korman (Tony Danza), looking for a second chance at love, falls head over heels for Betsy. What happens next is anybody's bet!
