The composer of GUYS ON ICE is JAMES KAPLAN. A New Jersey native, James wrote the music for such American Folklore Theatre hits as LOOSE LIPS SINK SHIPS, THE BACHELORS, GUYS ON ICE and LUMBERJACKS IN LOVE. His music also appears in PACKER FANS FROM OUTER SPACE, BONE DANCE, BELGIANS IN HEAVEN and YA YA YOU BETCHA! James also arranged the music for several AFT revues - GOODNIGHT IRENE, HARVEST MOON, OLD FRIENDS and SWEET BABY JAMES. He is currently at work on two new musicals, one with long-time AFT company member Laurie Flanigan, and one with Chicago writer Dave Hudson.

by Kelsey Lawler
