David Perlman (Baby It's You!, Yank!, Madagascar Live!, and other shows without exclamation points) returned to Feinstein's/54 Below last week for his solo concert debut of MOSTLY FUNNY SONGS. The show featured guest star Natalie Weiss (Breaking Down the Riffs, Les Miserables, Everyday Rapture). The pair put a spin on 'All By Myself' by Eric Carmen (sung in the style of Celine Dion) - check it out below!

GLEE star Jenna Ushkowitz has today released the song, Standing On My Own which is written by composers, Daniel and Laura Curtis. The release also opens the 2016 Your Voice Competition for entries.

Audiences heard selections from some of their latest projects including Run Away Home, Talk To Me, The Boy Who Danced on Air, and their new slash fiction boy band pilot Truth Slash Fiction.

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, just presented Broadway Rocks Kelly Clarkson a one-night concert featuring Broadway and up-and-coming performers singing their favorite songs by the first American Idol. The show was was directed/produced by Brandon Beynon and Music Directed/Arrangements by Joshua Zecher-Ross, with Micah Burgess (Guitar), Lorenzo Wolff (Bass), Kenny Hildebrandt (Drums).

Last weekend, Feinstein's/54 Below presented BROADWAY ROCKS KELLY CLARKSON, featuring Broadway and up-and-coming performers singing their favorite songs by the first American Idol. As part of the evening, Tony nominee Robin De Jesus joined The Mashup Project's Jen Brissman for a mashup of 'Disaster/Beautiful Disaster.' Check it out below!

Just last month, the Broadway at Birdland concert series presented songwriter Jonathan Reid Gealt, who celebrated the release of his new cd, 'Whatever I Want It To Be,' with a concert at the historic music room starring a bevy of Broadway stars. Natalie Weiss recently made her return to Rockwell in Los Angeles. With Will Yanez on guitar, Natalie performed a stripped down set where she sang classic mashups, delivered hilarious banter, and of course broke down a few riffs. The Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival, by special arrangement with Theatrical Rights Worldwide, proudly produces the world premiere of the new North American production of SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER.  Performances run from July 22 through through August 12. Based on Nik Cohn's 1975 article 'Tribal Rites of the new Saturday Night' and Norman Wexler's 1977 screenplay it inspired, this iconic time capsule centers around Tony Manero, a Brooklyn youth whose weekend is spent at the local dance hangout. There, he escapes into the admiration of the crowd, a growing relationship and the pulse of the beat that enables him to forget the realities of his life, his dead-end job and his gang of deadbeat friends. This new production delivers all the favorite tunes and dance sequences while bringing out the dimension and layers of the story and the landscape of such an iconic snapshot in American history.  Adapted for the stage by Robert Stigwood in collaboration with Bill Oakes, this new North American version features songs by The Bee Gees, is adapted for the stage by Sean Cercone and features additional music and lyrics by David Abbinanti.  Check out a first look at highlights below!

The tribute concerts take the music of well-known music icons and create new, unique arrangements and orchestrations by twisting the style to fit the strength of the performer. Previous concerts have included Adele, Stevie Wonder, and Justin Timberlake; this May, producer Corey Mach (Godspell, Wicked) and music directorJoshua Stephen Kartes will present Broadway Sings Bruno Mars.
