BEAUTIFUL, THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL opened the 2015 Olivier Awards with a performance of the title song 'Beautiful' performed by 2015 Best Actress in a Musical Olivier Award Winner Katie Brayben followed by a full company performance of 'I Feel the Earth Move'.

Pix11 recently visited the Stephen Sondheim Theatre to chat with some members of BEAUTIFUL- THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL. Also, musical supervisor Jason Howland explains how a middle school crush led to his listening to Carole King for the first time.

Recently the NYMF production of DEPLOYED the musical gave fans a sneak peek into their rehearsal process. With a soaring pop rock score and set against the epic backdrop of a military base in Baghdad, DEPLOYED follows Emily's emotional journey. Our heroine develops an unlikely friendship with her interpreter, Laila, as she trains Iraqi women. Laila teaches Emily to appreciate others' suffering and to realize the enemy she's fighting is herself. When Emily finally lets go of her inner demons, a secret from the past comes back to wreak its revenge. They cannot forget...but can they forgive?
