The longest-running show in Broadway history, the Cameron Mackintosh/The Really Useful Group production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, directed by Harold Prince, just released its first TV spot in nearly four years (check it out here). Below, we're taking you behind the scenes of the shoot for an exclusive look at what went into the big day!

The longest-running show in Broadway history, the Cameron Mackintosh/The Really Useful Group production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, directed by Harold Prince, reached another unprecedented milestone when it celebrated its Twenty-Eighth Anniversary last night, Tuesday, January 26, 2016. This marked performance #11,649 at The Majestic Theatre (247 West 44th Street). BroadwayWorld was there for the special occasion and you can go behind the scenes with the cast below!

Stephen Sondheim (music and lyrics) and James Lapine's (book) INTO THE WOODS opened July 21, at the Muny, and is playing through July 27 in Forest Park. The production is directed by Gary Griffin, choreographed by Chris Bailey and music directed by Brad Haak. Check out a first look at the cast in action on opening night below! The cast includes Heather Headley (Witch), Erin Dilly (Baker's Wife), Rob McClure (Baker), Ken Page (Narrator), Andrew Samonsky (Cinderella's Prince/Wolf), Elena Shaddow (Cinderella) and Ryan Silverman (Rapunzel's Prince), will be Jason Gotay (Jack), Ellen Harvey (Cinderella's Stepmother), Sara Kapner (Little Red Ridinghood), Samantha Massell (Rapunzel), Michael McCormick (Mysterious Man/Cinderella's Father) and Zoe Vonder Haar (Jack's Mother). Rounding out this incredible cast are Anna Blair (Granny/Cinderella's Stepmother), Jennifer Diamond (Florinda), Gary Glasgow (Steward), Maggie Lakis (Milky White) and April Strelinger (Lucinda).

Signature Theatre presents Charles Mee's BIG LOVE, directed by Tina Landau, which is now in previews ahead of an opening night on Monday, February 23, 2015 at the The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). STARS IN THE ALLEY, presented by United Airlines and hosted by Norm Lewis, brought the best of Broadway to Shubert Alley this morning, featuring numbers from nearly 25 shows, which were accompanied by a live 12-piece orchestra. Producers today announced an online sweepstakes to give PHANTOM 'Phans' the chance to be part of the historic night's invitation-only performance. While many of the evening's details are being kept under wraps, the special night will begin with an early 6:30 PM performance at The Majestic Theatre (247 West 44th Street), the musical's home for its entire run.

The Public Theater is currently presenting the Shakespeare in the Park production of INTO THE WOODS at the Delacorte Theater. Directed by Timothy Sheader with co-direction by Liam Steel, INTO THE WOODS is running for five weeks through Saturday, August 25, with an official press opening on Thursday, August 9. During the Super Bowl today, February 5, NBC launched its "Brotherhood Of Man" network promo. Cast members of NBC shows including "Smash," "30 Rock," "Parks & Recreation," and "Parenthood" performed Frank Loesser's classic song from HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING. In the current smash hit Broadway revival of the musical comedy, international superstar Nick Jonas performs the tuneful anthem and Mr. Jonas will guest star on the Monday, February 27 episode of "Smash."
