Music Mountain, America's oldest continuing summer chamber music festival, continues its 85th anniversary season with a mid-season benefit concert featuring the master pianist Peter Serkin and the acclaimed Orion String Quartet, July 19 (3PM), performing a distinguished program including Haydn, plus works for piano and strings by Brahms, and Dvorak. Also appearing this weekend is the audience favorite, Gunsmoke today, July 18 (6:30PM). This summer, Music Mountain has welcomed some of the most highly regarded string quartets in the country -- The Emerson String Quartet opened the season, audiences enjoyed The Juilliard String Quartet, and now Music Mountain has the privilege of hosting the Orion String Quartet. And, as always, the Twilight Series offers a wide range of country, folk and jazz concerts that are fun for the entire family! Concerts are scheduled thru September 14.

Blue Note Jazz Club, one of the world's most iconic jazz and blues venues based in Greenwich Village, has announced world renowned trumpeter Chris Botti's milestone 10th Annual Holiday Residency. The three-week engagement at the club will run Monday, December 15, 2014 through Sunday, January 4, 2015, with two shows each evening (including Christmas Eve and New Years Eve performances).

Trio da Paz returns to the Cooperstown Summer Music Festival on Sunday, August 17 at 7:30 pm. With three of Brazil's most in-demand musicians, Trio da Paz updates and redefines Brazilian jazz with their harmonically adventurous interactions, daring improvisations and dazzling rhythms. Trio da Paz was formed in 1990 by guitarist Romero Lubambo, bassist Nilson Matta, and drummer Duduka da Fonseca, all seasoned masters of both jazz and Brazilian music.

David Aaron Carpenter To Launch Central Synagogue's International Concerts Series, July 8th- London debut for 'the hottest violist of the 21st century' and his Salome Chamber Orchestra soloists, with Music Of The Jewish Diaspora.

The Jewish Community Center of San Francisco (JCCSF) takes pride in announcing the 2014-15 Arts and Ideas Season; an exciting line-up of today's acclaimed writers, food experts, renowned scientists and thinkers, as well as fascinating entertainers. Theatrical and musical highlights in the first half of the season include The Magnetic Fields' Stephin Merritt, rock icon Amanda Palmer and actor Richard Chamberlain.

The Cleveland Orchestra previously announced the 2014 Blossom Music Festival season. Bang on a Can: Other Primary Structures, a concert featuring Bang on a Can All-Stars Vicky Chow (piano) and David Cossin (percussion) with Dither Quartet guitarists Taylor Levine and James Moore, will take place at the Jewish Museum on Thursday, July 10 at 7:30pm. This program is the first auditorium concert of the Jewish Museum and Bang on a Can's new partnership to produce a series of dynamic musical performances at the Museum from June 2014 to May 2015, inspired by the Jewish Museum's diverse slate of exhibitions.

The collaboration between FirstWorks and National Grid continues to build momentum with world-class performing arts programs in Providence, RI. The effort focuses on engaging students in underserved cities and towns across the state with exceptional artists and arts learning programs that inspire creativity and provide youth with skills for future success. The New York Philharmonic will conclude its 2013-14 subscription season with the final program in The Beethoven Piano Concertos: A Philharmonic Festival, when Music Director Alan Gilbert conducts Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5, Emperor, featuring The Mary and James G. Wallach Artist-in-Residence Yefim Bronfman as soloist, and Beethoven's Triple Concerto, with Mr. Bronfman, Principal Cello Carter Brey, and Concertmaster Glenn Dicterow in his final appearances before concluding his 34-year tenure, tonight, June 18, 2014, at 7:30 p.m.; Thursday, June 19 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, June 20 at 8:00 p.m.; and Saturday, June 21 at 8:00 p.m.
