The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the world premiere of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, a new musical comedy with book by Robert L. Freedman, music by Steven Lutvak and lyrics by Freedman and Lutvak. Former Old Globe Co-Artistic Director Darko Tresnjak returns to the Globe to direct the production. Based on the novel Israel Rank by Roy Horniman, the musical also features choreography by Peggy Hickey. A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder will run March 8 - April 14, 2013 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run March 8 - March 12. Opening night is Wednesday, March 13 at 7:00 p.m. A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder is a co-production with Hartford Stage. Single tickets go on sale Sunday, Feb. 3 at 12 noon. The 4th Street Theatre will present the New York Premiere of the critically acclaimed one-man show, The Play About The Coach, written and performed by Paden Fallis and directed by Tamara Fisch. The Play About The Coach runs from February 27 to March 17, 2013 in a limited engagement at the 4th Street Theatre, located at 83 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery in New York City. Previews begin February 27 for a March 2 opening.

The Colony Theatre will present the fifth production of its 'Season of Premieres' with the Los Angeles Premiere of I'LL BE BACK BEFORE MIDNIGHT, written and directed by Peter Colley. I'LL BE BACK BEFORE MIDNIGHT will preview on Wednesday, February 6; Thursday, February 7; and Friday, February 8 at 8:00pm. The Broadhurst Theatre box office opens tomorrow, Friday, January 25 at 10:00 AM for LUCKY GUY, starring two-time Academy Award-winner Tom Hanks, in the final work by three-time Academy Award-nominee Nora Ephron and directed by two-time Tony Award-winner George C. Wolfe. The Broadhurst Theatre is located at 235 West 44th Street. The production will play a strictly limited engagement. Opening night is Monday, April 1. Previews begin Friday, March 1.

Yale Repertory Theatre presents Paul Giamatti in HAMLET by William Shakespeare, directed by James Bundy, at the University Theatre (222 York Street), March 15-April 13. Opening Night is Thursday, March 21, at 7:30PM.

The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Jacques Lacombe present a Winter Festival program featuring Tchaikovsky and Sibelius works inspired by Shakespeare's The Tempest. The Orchestra augments Sibelius' music with performances by actors from The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. The program also includes Beethoven's Symphony No. 6, 'Pastoral.'

Steve Alpert and Ken Greiner in association with Slant Theatre Project present the world-premiere of THE STEADFAST, Mat Smart's gripping new play that looks at eight U.S. soldiers across the sweep of American history - from the Revolutionary War to the War in Afghanistan - and The Common thread that connects them across continents and centuries. THE STEADFAST is inspired by Mr. Alpert's Legacy painting. Preview performances of THE STEADFAST began January 20 prior to an official press opening of January 23 at TBG Theatre (312 West 36th Street) in Manhattan. A total of 35 established and emerging writers, composers and lyricists will converge on the Goodspeed campus this month to participate in the first-ever Johnny Mercer Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. The writing teams, representing more than twenty new musicals, will populate the campus, creating a truly exciting environment for discovery and inspiration.
