Gray Line New York, New York City's premier sightseeing and tourism company, today, August 22, 2012, honored stage and screen icons, and Broadway Barks co-founders, Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore by welcoming them into the Ride of Fame campaign. Peters, who was on-site to receive this honor, participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to unveil the custom decal featuring her and Moore's likenesses on the front of one of Gray Line New York's iconic double-decker buses. Gray Line New York, New York City's premiere double-decker bus and motorcoach tourism company, has announced that Television and Broadway icons Mary Tyler Moore and Bernadette Peters, as well as co-founders of Broadway Barks, an organization whose mission is to help shelter animals find permanent homes in NYC, produced by Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS, will be inducted into the Ride of Fame. A ribbon-cutting ceremony where a custom decal will be unveiled on the front of the vehicle displaying their likenesses, also incorporating a special edition poster designed by the legendary Bob Mackie, for this year's 14th annual Broadway Barks, a star-studded dog and cat adoption event, which the two actresses recently co-hosted. Ms. Peters will be on hand for the unveiling today, August 21st, 12 noon on PIer 78 at 455 12th Avenue at 38th Street.

Winning the prestigious Woodward/Newman Award for best play, while being developed at Rogue Machine for their 2012 season, brought with it a fully funded production mounted at the Bloomington Play Project in Indiana. It turned out to be one of their most successful projects to date. A Holland New Voices Award came shortly afterwards, and now playwright Henry Murray is ready for its close-up at Rogue Machine, known for staging new works. This will be a West Coast Premiere in one of the country's most vibrant cities for new plays, Los Angeles, opening September 15, 2012.

Ghost The Musical will play its final performance on Broadway tonight, August 18th at 8pm, after 39 previews and 136 regular performances. Ghost The Musical opened on April 23, 2012, at Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, having begun previews on March 15th. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Whoopi Goldberg will appear in the fourth season of GLEE as a 'special guest star,' reprising her role of Carmen Tibideaux, dean of the fictional New York Academy of Dramatic Arts. Glee Project Season 1 winners Samuel Larson and Alex Newell will also recur on the new season.

Adult Swim announced today that the much-anticipated ROBOT CHICKEN DC Comics Special will officially kick off the sixth season of the Emmy Award(R)-winning series on Sunday, September 9th at Midnight (ET/PT).

The hit musical comedy SISTER ACT, produced by Whoopi Goldberg and Stage Entertainment, is coming to Birmingham Hippodrome for a glorious limited season, raising the roof and getting the congregation dancing in the aisles for the final time as part of the current national tour from Tuesday 9 - Saturday 20 October 2012.

AIDS Walk Los Angeles is the world's first fundraising event of its kind, and the event continues to keep the public engaged in the HIV/AIDS crisis. Last year, a passionate crowd of 30,000 walkers and 2,500 volunteers raised $3 million for HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and advocacy programs. Since its inception, the event has raised more than $72 million to fight the disease in Los Angeles County.
