This July REDCAT launches its tenth annual New Original Works Festival, a three-week celebration of Los Angeles' vibrant community of artists making work for the stage. Featuring nine new original works by regional dance, theater, music and multimedia artists, this year's festival will be held today, July 25, 2013 through August 10, 2013 with three distinct programs over three consecutive weekends. Individual tickets are $18 with student discounts available; a Festival Pass is available for $36, and offers audiences a chance to experience the full breadth of vision that is NOW.

The supernatural power of love is taking Atlanta by storm as the new Broadway and West End musical Ghost The Musical, adapted from the Academy Award-winning film, will play a limited engagement at the Fox Theatre from November 5-10 as part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta 2013-2014 season.

Heavily retooled from its 2006 Out-of-Town premiere at the Pasadena Playhouse and its eventual 2009 London debut, the Tony-nominated Broadway comedy's North American first national tour continues a three-week engagement at Hollywood's Pantages Theatre through July 28 (the tour is also scheduled for stops in nearby San Diego, July 30 - August 4 and Orange County, August 6-18).

Neil Patrick Harris will star in the Broadway premiere of John Cameron Mitchell and Stephen Trask's musical HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH in the Spring of 2014. The remaining creative team members, additional casting, and the theatre will be confirmed at a later date, but the production will be directed by Tony winner Michael Mayer. The Boy Sonata, written and performed by Justin Sayre will recieve it's New York debut at this Year's HOT! Festival hosted by Dixon Place on Monday, July 22nd at 7:30. The Boy Sonata, written in 5 parts, details seminal moments in the life of it's central character, 'The Boy.' Mimicking Sonata Form, the series of monologues travel with the boy from ages 6 to 17, each pinpointing a day, an hour, or a moment when things become much more beautifully and tragically complicated. The Boy Sonata is a heartbreakingly funny tribute to the voice of a child as he develops his individual understanding of a world.

THE VIEW's Barbara Walters announced that the exiting co-host's spot would not be filled in the immediate future, explaining there would be 'plenty of guest co-hosts.'
