Raoul Wallenberg's epic journey will be brought to life in a multi-media staged reading of Wallenberg, A New Musical Drama. The production will take place at Lynn University's Wold Center for the Performing Arts on February 12th and 13th only. With book and lyrics by the 2006 Kleban Award-winning team of Laurence Holzman and Felicia Needleman, and music by Benjamin Rosenbluth, Wallenberg, A New Musical Drama recounts the fascinating and uplifting story of one of the greatest heroes of the twentieth century.

At age 27, Christopher Massimine is the youngest theater executive to oversee the production activities within a major multi-million dollar theatrical organization. Previously holding the position of Marketing Communications Director at The National Yiddish Theatre - Folksbiene, he has now assumed the role as Producing Director where he will act as Supervising Producer on Folksbiene's forthcoming musical production LIES MY FATHER TOLD ME, a critical success in Canada making its American debut at Baruch Performing Arts Center on November 10 and running through December 15.

Combining a spy thriller with farcical comedy and ingenious theatrical invention, THE 39 STEPS is an engaging, fast-paced and furiously funny whodunit. Closely following the storyline of Alfred Hitchcock's 1935 film, the play features more than 150 characters brought to life by a cast of just five actors, including David Gautschy as the intrepid hero Richard Hannay; Natasha Nightingale as all female roles (including a beautiful spy with a deadly secret); with DJ Petrosino, Ari Lew and Kate Dickinson all putting their many sidesplitting skills to the test in this wildly entertaining experience.

White Plains Performing Arts Center's Board of Trustees announces its annual Gala, a celebration of the Performing Arts Center's Tenth Anniversary, to be held at the downtown White Plains theatre on Saturday, November 2 beginning at 7:30 pm. The event will honor Peter Gisondi Sr. and Tony and Anthony Goncalves for their steadfast support of the theatre and its mission. "It is my particular pleasure to single out three stellar individuals who have been with us for the last decade with ongoing support and encouragement. The Gisondi and Goncalves families are beloved members of our community and original Founders of the theatre who believe in the value of the arts to the residents of our City and region. We salute them for their leadership roles among the local business community in recognizing the theatre's contribution to the quality of life and economy of our City", said Board Chairman, John J. Ioris.
