It's Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious as the popular family musical 'MARY POPPINS' flies onto the stage at Theatre in the Park (TTIP) Friday July 29 through Sunday, July 31, and continuing into the following week on Wednesday, Aug. 3 through Saturday, Aug. 6. Curtain time is 8:30 p.m. with the outdoor amphitheater opening for seating at 6:30 p.m. 'MARY POPPINS' is rated G and is the final musical production in TTIP's 47th summer season. Segerstrom Center for the Arts will celebrate Mexico's revered Dia de los Muertos with performances by Perla Batalla, La Santa Cecilia, Pacifico Dance and Quetzal on November 2, 2016 in the Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall starting at 7:30 p.m. Four performances will take place in a single concert: Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Perla Batalla, LA bands La Santa Cecilia and Quetzal and Pacifico Dance Company.

This fall, food lovers can experience deals at 90 of the most popular restaurants in Orlando including 19 new program participants during Visit Orlando's Magical Dining Month, sponsored by American Express. From Aug. 29 through Oct. 2, guests can choose from these participating restaurants to enjoy three-course dinners for $33, averaging a savings of 33% per meal. The program, developed by Visit Orlando, Central Florida's official tourism association, includes some of the hottest new arrivals to Orlando's culinary scene, including chef-driven establishments in the new Disney Springs area as well as local favorites across town. One dollar from each meal will also be donated to a local charity, with last year's program contributing more than $160,000 - the largest donation to date.

On the heels of a highly successful multi-city tour and run on Broadway, the world's best-selling touring magic show, The Illusionists - Live from Broadway will play the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in the Walt Disney Theater from October 4 - 9, 2016 as part of its current North American tour to more than 50 cities.

Los Angeles-based The Ahmanson Foundation has approved a major grant to LA STAGE Alliance, the region's arts service organization for stage work. Kristin Chenoweth, star of Broadway's original 'Wicked' and Tony-winner for 'You're A Good Man Charlie Brown,' star of TV's 'Glee' and Emmy-winner for 'Pushing Daisies,' will perform solo shows for Broadway @ The Performing Arts Center on Martha's Vineyard on August 14 at 6pm for one show only, and at Broadway @ Town Hall in Provincetown on August 16 for two shows at 6pm and 8:30pm.
