Photo Flash: Bay Street Theater Presents EVITA

Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce EVITA begins July 31 with a "Pay What You Can" performance with a limited amount of tickets available at the box office beginning at 11 am. The play will run through August 26. The play features lyrics written by Andrew Lloyd Webber, music by Tim Rice and is directed by Bay Street Theater's Associate Artistic Director, Will Pomerantz. Showtime Renews THE AFFAIR for Fifth and Final Season

SHOWTIME has renewed its Golden Globe® Award winning drama series THE AFFAIRfor a fifth and final season. Season four of the series is currently airing on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT, with the finale airing onAugust 19. Sawyer Fredericks and his band are heading out on tour this summer in support of his latest album, Hide Your Ghost. The highly-anticipated sophomore album sheds the high gloss major label treatment, and stays true to Fredericks's honest and elegantly stripped down style, a self-described “free range folk”, incorporating elements of blues, roots rock, and jazz with live instrumental arrangements throughout. The album was largely recorded to analog tape, with an old-school approach to production, in the unparalleled acoustics of the cathedral hall of the converted 1896 St. John's Church, now home to Dreamland Recording Studios in Woodstock, NY.

Kevin Elyot's COMING CLEAN Will Make West End Transfer

The King's Head Theatre, Making Productions Limited and Joe C Brown are delighted to announce the West End transfer of Kevin Elyot's Coming Clean. Adam Spreadbury-Maher, Artistic Director of the King's Head Theatre, will direct the production, which will run at Trafalgar Studios 2 from 9 January to 2 February 2019, with a national press night on Friday 11 January 2019.

HBO, Rai Fiction and TIMVISION Series MY BRILLIANT FRIEND, Directed by Saverio Costanzo, Debuts This Fall

Recently wrapping production in Caserta, Italy, the HBO, RAI FICTION and TIMVISION series MY BRILLIANT FRIEND debuts this fall. Intrepid Theater Company Closes Second Season with UGLY LIES THE BONE

Performance Art Icon Karen Finley Continues GRABBING PUSSY Thru Aug. 15

Karen Finley, a name synonymous with Performance Art, will present more performances of her new show GRABBING PUSSY, inspired by her new book of the same title from OR Books. It will now be presented through August 12, Sundays at 7pm at The Laurie Beechman Theater (inside West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd Street -- at Ninth Avenue, accessible from the A,C,E,N,R,V,F,1,2,3 trains at 42nd Street). Tickets are $22 for general admission or $35 for VIP tickets that include a signed book and a one-of-a-kind bookmark handmade by Finley. Please note that there is also a $20 food/drink minimum at all performances at this venue.
