Shakespeare '70 to Stage AS YOU LIKE IT at Kelsey Theatre, 6/28-7/7

Shakespeare '70 presents William Shakespeare's comedy masterpiece 'As You Like It' at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre. Performances are Fridays, June 28 and July 5 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, June 29 and July 6 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, June 30 and July 7 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance on June 28.

Terry Kinney to Direct Broadway-Bound REAR WINDOW; Full Creative Team Announced!

The forthcoming Broadway production REAR WINDOW has found its creative team in playwright Keith Reddin(Too Much Memory, Life and Limb) and director Terry Kinney (reasons to be pretty, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest). The play will be adapted from Cornell Woolrich's original short story, the iconic and haunting tale of the wheelchair-bound witness to a possible murder in his neighboring New York City apartment.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey Presents AS YOU LIKE IT, 6/19-7/28

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's enormously popular annual summer venue for family theatre under-the-stars will transform into the Forest of Arden when the Theatre presents its Outdoor Stage production of William Shakespeare's comedy As You Like It at the amphitheatre on the campus of the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morris Township. This replica of an ancient Greek theatre nestled into the hillside of the bucolic campus offers a theatrical event unique on the East Coast. As You Like It begins on June 19th and continues through July 28th.

SISTER ACT National Tour Heads to Dallas & Fort Worth in June

The North American Tour of SISTER ACT will come to the Music Hall at Fair Park, presented by Dallas Summer Musicals, June 4-16. Colleen Zenk to Lead TAINTED DREAMS Dramedy, Hudson Theatre's LOOPED

The inimitable former As the World Turns leading lady Colleen Zenk has landed two exciting new roles: "Sofia DiGiacomo" in NYC Brand Productions' Tainted Dreams, a scripted dramedy about behind-the-scenes of producing a daily soap opera and "Tallulah Bankhead," the flamboyant stage and screen icon, in the play Looped.

Disney Executive Denise Greenawalt Dies at 52

According to The Hollywood Reporter, longtime Disney PR executive Denise Greenawalt, passed away in her sleep on May 22, following a long illness. The company announced the news today. Greenawalt was 52 years old.

Shakespeare on the Sound to Stage AS YOU LIKE IT, 6/13-30

Connecticut's premier outdoor Shakespeare will present As You Like It, June 13-30, 2013. The show is one of Shakespeare's most beloved and pastoral comedies. Claire Shannon Kelly, currently the Director of Youth Programming for Shakespeare on the Sound and the director of the company's touring educational program, 'Speaking Daggers,' will direct. Kelly previously worked at the Ordway Theater, the Guthrie Theater, the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey and the George Street Playhouse. She is a resident of New Canaan.

Smuin Ballet Brings New Works PETAL, JAZZIN' and More to Bay Area, Beg. Today

Smuin Ballet ends its season with an invigorating lineup of fresh choreography, presenting the West Coast premiere of the bright ballet Petal by acclaimed choreographer Helen Pickett, set to music by Philip Glass and Thomas Montgomery Newman. In addition, Bay Area audiences will get their first look at Darrell Grand Moultrie's JAZZIN', a sultry ballet set to music by Wynton Marsalis, Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn, and Andy Razaf. The bill also includes Michael Smuin's romantic and pastoral Chants d'Auvergne.
