Previews began on November 12, 2011. The roles of David Gamble and Melinda Wells will be played, respectively, by David Turner and Jessie Mueller, in her Broadway debut. The delightful Tony-nominated score by Burton Lane (music) and Alan Jay Lerner (lyrics) is enhanced by classics from their film scores for On A Clear Day You Can See Forever (1970) and Royal Wedding (1951). With a new book by Peter Parnell based on the original book by Alan Jay Lerner, the musical is reconceived and directed by Tony Award-winner Michael Mayer, with choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter. The producers of the 50th Anniversary production of the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical comedy HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING announced today that star of stage and television, Michael Urie ("Ugly Betty," The Temperamentals) will make his Broadway debut as Bud Frump, beginning Tuesday, January 24, 2012, for 6 months through Sunday, July 1, 2012. Urie will co-star with Nick Jonas and Beau Bridges. Urie replaces Christopher J. Hanke, who will play his last performance on Sunday, January 22, 2012 alongside Darren Criss. He will replace Daniel Radcliffe, who will play his final performance on Sunday, January 1, 2012. Daniel Radcliffe, John Larroquette and the rest of the cast and crew of HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING celebrated their 250th performance on Broadway at the Hirschfeld Theatre in New York City on Saturday and BroadwayWorld.com was there to capture the hit show's special backstage celebration. With the recently announced replacement leads including Darren Criss, Nick Jonas and Beau Bridges coming in 2012 -- we see many more celebrations in the show's future!

The upcoming national tour of THE ADDAMS FAMILY- a new musical based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams- has trimmed down its Chicago engageent, according to the Chicago Tribune. The show, which was scheduled to play The show will now play December 13 through January 1, will now run December 27 through January 1 at the Cadillac Palace Theatre.
