Željko Ivanek and Sarah Steele to Lead LCT3's SLOWGIRL

Željko Ivanek and Sarah Steele will comprise the two-person cast of Slowgirl, a new play by Greg Pierce, directed by Anne Kauffman, which will be the first production to be presented by LCT3 in its new home, The Claire Tow Theater on the roof of Lincoln Center Theater's Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street). Slowgirl will run for six weeks only from Monday, June 4 through Sunday, July 15. Opening night is Monday, June 18 at 7pm.

Morrison Center Adds Performance to WAR HORSE Run

The National Theatre's epic WAR HORSE, winner of five 2011 Tony® Awards including Best Play, will play Boise June 6-9, 2012. WAR HORSE is currently playing at New York's Lincoln Center Theater, in London's West End, and at Toronto's Princess of Wales Theatre in February 2012 for an open-ended run.

Broadway In Chicago recently announced the complete 2012-2013 season, bringing old favorites, as well as new ones to Chicagoan theater-goers. The upcoming season will include I LOVE LUCY LIVE ON STAGE, KINKY BOOTS, SISTER ACT, DR. SEUSS' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! THE MUSICAL, and WAR HORSE. In addition to the shows running during the official season, off-season specials include Stuffed And Unstrung, Rock Of Ages, Rain: A Tribute To The Beatles and Les Miserables. The complete season line-up, including performances dates and venues, is as follows:

Lincoln Center to Present Talk With WAR HORSE Author Michael Morpurgo, 5/6

Lincoln Center Theater will present War Horse author Michael Morpurgo in a one-night only special event, An Evening with Michael Morpurgo: From Devon to Broadway, on Sunday, May 6 at 7:30pm at the Vivian Beaumont Theater, where its co-production, with the National Theater of Great Britain and Bob Boyett, of the 2011 Tony Award winning Best Play War Horse continues is record-breaking run.

Lincoln Center Theater Extends 4000 MILES Through June 17

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop, Artistic Director, and Bernard Gersten, Executive Producer) has announced that it will extend the run of its critically acclaimed production of Amy Herzog's 4000 MILES, directed by Daniel Aukin, through Sunday, June 17 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street). The production, which features Gabriel Ebert, Greta Lee, Mary Louise Wilson and Zoe Winters, began performances March 15, opened on April 2 and originally scheduled to run through Sunday, May 20, had its world premiere last June as a production of LCT3, Lincoln Center Theater's programming initiative devoted to producing the work of new artists and developing new audiences. Paige Evans is Artistic Director/LCT3.

Lincoln Center Theater has announced two productions that will open this fall: a 75th Anniversary production of the Clifford Odets' classic GOLDEN BOY, to be directed by Bartlett Sher beginning performances Thursday November 8 and opening Monday, December 3 at a Broadway theatre to be announced; and the New York premiere of VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE a new play by Christopher Durang, to be directed by Nicholas Martin, beginning performances Thursday, October 25 and opening Monday, November 12 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street).

Papatango have teamed up with one of London's leading new writing venues, the Finborough Theatre to present the winning entries in the 2011 Papatango Playwriting Competition 2011, featuring this year's winning play Foxfinder by Dawn King which will play for a four week limited season from 29 November (Press Night: Thursday, 1 December 2011 at 8.30pm) and three runners up who will each receive a one week run - Through The Night by Matt Morrison (Press Night: Wednesday, 7 December 2011 at 6.30pm), Rigor Mortis by Carol Vine (Press Night:Wednesday, 14 December 2011 at 6.30pm) and Crush by Rob Young (Press Night: Tuesday, 20 December 2011 at 6.30pm).
