The National Theatre's epic WAR HORSE, winner of five 2011 Tony® Awards including Best Play, will come to Chicago this December for a limited three-week engagement from Dec. 18, 2012 - Jan. 5, 2013 at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph St.).
Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop, Artistic Director, and Bernard Gersten, Executive Producer) has announced that the Claire Tow Theater, its newest stage at Lincoln Center and the future home to its programming initiative LCT3, will open in June with the LCT3 world premiere production of SLOWGIRL, a new play by Greg Pierce.
Masterworks Broadway will release music from the stage version of War Horse, winner of five Tony Awards including Best Play, today. According to reports from The Age, Britain's National Theatre production of WAR HORSE is set to play at the Art Centre's State Theatre in Melbourne, Australia sometime in late 2012.

The National Theatre's award-winning production of War Horse is currently playing the New London Theatre, and will egin a full UK tour in Fall 2013, according to The Stage. While official tour dates and venues have not yet been confirmed, executive director Nick Starr revealed that in addition to the West End, Broaway, and upcoming Toronto production, there are also plans to open in Australia, Japan, and South Africa.
