And on Monday, April 30, 2012, some of the Manor's best and brightest will pay tribute to their alma mater as it receives the prestigious Theatre Arts Education Award at the 2012 Theatre Museum Awards Gala Celebration. The tour of the Broadway revival of WEST SIDE STORY is coming to Philadelphia. WEST SIDE STORY performs at the Academy of Music through April 8 as part of the Broadway Season, presented by The Kimmel Center and The Shubert Organization.

The cast of ONCE, the critically acclaimed new musical based on the 2007 Academy Award-winning film, will appear on NBC's "Today" on Friday, April 6 in the 10AM hour. ONCE currently plays on Broadway at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45th Street). The production opened to raves on Sunday, March 18, 2012.

Capitalizing on the rave reviews of its initial debut as "The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Tour" in 2010, the touring production has been enhanced to capture the imaginations and interests of all types of fans including Broadway, concert and Elvis aficionados. The cast of ONCE, the critically acclaimed new musical based on the 2007 Academy Award-winning film, will appear on "Late Show with David Letterman" tomorrow, Thursday, March 29.

The tour of the Broadway revival of WEST SIDE STORY is coming to Philadelphia. WEST SIDE STORY will open at the Academy of Music on March 28 through April 8 as part of the Broadway Season, presented by The Kimmel Center and The Shubert Organization.

FELA! will play the Academy of Music for a limited engagement through March 25 as part of the Broadway Season, presented by The Kimmel Center and The Shubert Organization.

Recently, the producer of RIVERDANCE, Moya Doherty, announced that the United States touring production of the internationally-acclaimed worldwide phenomenon will close in June, 2012. RIVERDANCE, part of the Broadway Season, will play in Philadelphia at the Merriam Theater FOR THE VERY LAST TIME, May 11 through 13 for five performances only!

FELA! will play the Academy of Music for a limited engagement March 20 - March 25 as part of the Broadway Season, presented by The Kimmel Center and The Shubert Organization.

Now, on the show's official Facebook page, lead producer Ben Sprecher writes 'Rebecca is moving forward. We have identified the final missing piece of investment and the Shuberts (to whom I shall be forever indebeted) have graciously allowed us to resume production to open at the Broadhurst in fall of 2012. Thank you all for you patience and most of all to the extraordinary creative team who have stuck by this fantastic production through thick and thin as Rebecca continues to play in productions throughout the world.'

At the end of January, the producers of REBECCA, the new musical based on the classic novel by Daphne Du Maurier novel (later turned into an Oscar-winning film by Alfred Hitchcock) announced that the production would be postponed until next season. The Village Voice's Michael Musto is reporting that the show might be making its Broadway debut sooner than expected. Musto writes: 'They have started rehearsing again and they plan to take over the Broadhurst Theatre when A Streetcar Named Desire exits.'

The Kimmel Center and The Shubert Organization today announced the line-up of Broadway's most popular touring stage musicals coming to Philadelphia for the 2012/13 Broadway Season. The Broadway Season is presented by The Kimmel Center and The Shubert Organization with productions at the Academy of Music, Forrest Theatre and Merriam Theater.

Estée Lauder's Thia Breen, author and historian Barbara Goldsmith and philanthropist and animal activist Cornelia Guest are Women's Project's 2012 Women of Achievement who will be inducted at its 27th Annual Gala Celebration hosted by the columnist Cindy Adams at the Copacabana, 268 West 47th Street, on Monday, March 5, at 6:30pm.
