MATILDA's LETTERMAN Performance to Re-Air Tomorrow

MATILDA THE MUSICAL's performance on “The Late Show with David Letterman” will be rebroadcast on Thursday, July 4. Led by Bertie Carvel as Miss Trunchbull, the cast initially appeared on June 11. “The Late Show” airs on CBS at 11:35 PM (Channel 2 in New York). Check local listings.

Two-time Tony Award-winner Mark Rylance (Jerusalem, Boeing-Boeing) will star on Broadway in two startlingly different performances in repertory: as the suddenly love struck noblewoman Olivia in Twelfth Night and as the ruthless and conniving title monarch in Richard III. The critically heralded all-male Shakespeare's Globe productions of Twelfth Night and Richard III, which delighted audiences and broke all box office records in London's West End earlier this year, will openSunday, November 10 at the Belasco Theatre (111 West 44th Street), with previews beginning October 15. The productions, directed by Tim Carroll, designed byJenny Tiramani and with music by Claire van Kampen, will play a limited engagement for 16 weeks. Park Avenue Armory Presents Paul McCarthy Exhibit, 6/18

This June, Park Avenue Armory unveils a new large-scale installation and video project by artist Paul McCarthy, considered among the most provocative and influential voices in the international art world today. Drawing inspiration from the 19th-century German fairytale Snow White and McCarthy's ongoing exploration of American myths and icons, WS takes over the Armory's Wade Thompson Drill Hall from June 19 through August 4, 2013, and marks the Armory's seventh major visual art installation to date. The monumental installation weaves together a fantastical forest and a three-quarter-scale house modeled after McCarthy's own childhood home with multi-channel video projections to immerse visitors in a world of fantasy and depravity. A press preview for WS will be held at the Armory on June 18, 2013.

41N 50W is the last known position of the Titanic before she sank at 2.20am on 15th April 1912 during her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York. 41N 50W is a unique new play written by Robert Neal Marshall, adapted from over 1,100 pages of the original 1912 Senate Hearings. Readings of the play will be presented at the St. James Studio Theatre on 4 and 5 October 2012.
