The first-ever tour of a fine art exhibition created for movie theater audiences, coming via satellite directly to La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts. LEONARDO LIVE is a showcase of the completely sold out Leonardo da Vinci exhibition at the National Gallery in London. LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS will present LEONARDO LIVE on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 11am in its gorgeous theatre at 14900 La Mirada Blvd. in La Mirada.

Ken Ludwig is an internationally acclaimed playwright whose many hits on Broadway, in London's West End and throughout the world have made his name synonymous with modern comedy. He has had six shows on Broadway and six in the West End, and he has won the Laurence Olivier Award, England's highest theatre honor, as well as three Tony Award nominations and two Helen Hayes Awards. His work has been commissioned by the Royal Shakespeare Company and has been performed in thirty countries in over twenty languages. Ken Ludwig is also the author of the popular Lend Me a Tenor and Moon Over Buffalo.

Pioneer Theatre Company will present the stage adaptation of the Jane Austen novel Emma, February 17 through March 3, 2012.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.), Huntington Theatre Company, and the Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston announce programming for the third Emerging America.

Hosted by Jan Ravens, with performers Daniel Evans, Josie Lawrence, Jenny Jules, Jonathan Pryce, Jenna Russell, Samantha Spiro and Meera Syal are joined by Young Friends of the Almeida and award-winning theatre company Inspector Sands to perform as part of 'Almeida Up Close,' the theatre's 2012 fundraising Gala.

Directed by Indhu Rubasingham, Almeida Up Close will take place on 23 February 2012 at One Mayfair. The evening of fine dining and cabaret will include music by Stephen Sondheim and Amy Winehouse.

Roundabout Theatre Company tonight opened Athol Fugard's THE ROAD TO MECCA, featuring Tony Award winner RoseMary Harris as 'Miss Helen,' Carla Gugino as 'Elsa Barlow' and Tony Award winner Jim Dale as 'Marius Byleveld,' and directed by Gordon Edelstein.

According to Variety, Broadway director Alex Timbers will directthe upcoming big screen adaptation of Dale E. Basye's Children's book- Heck. THe movie will feature a screenplay by Bob Iserson and will be produced by Karen Rosenfelt.

Florida Studio Theatre (FST) broke box office records this week and closes the year with an unprecedented 11,000 subscriptions to its Mainstage season and became the largest subscribed regional theatre in the southeast.

Stephen Wadsworth's new production of Terrence McNally's Master Class starring Tyne Daly as the legendary opera soprano Maria Callas is to transfer to the Vaudeville Theatre following its critically acclaimed, sell-out run on Broadway. Joining Daly are Gerard Carey (Stagehand), Jeremy Cohen (Emmanuel Weinstock), Naomi O'Connell (Sharon Graham), Dianne Pilkington (Sophie De Palma) and Garrett Sorenson (Anthony Candolino).

The Fred Ebb Foundation (Mitchell Bernard, Trustee) has just announced that its 2011 donation to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS will total $1.2 million dollars, marking the largest single contribution in BC/EFA history. The foundation, which is funded by royalties from the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb's vast catalogue of work, makes an annual donation to BC/EFA. This contribution tops last year's donation of $1 million dollars which was, at the time, the largest single contribution in BC/EFA history.

The Vineyard Theatre in collaboration with Naked Angels will co-produce the world-premiere of Zayd Dohrn's play OUTSIDE PEOPLE, directed by Evan Cabnet at The Vineyard (108 East 15th Street), with previews expected to begin late December prior to an official opening in early January 2012, it has been announced by Douglas Aibel, Artistic Director of Vineyard Theatre and Sarah Stern, The Vineyard's Co-Artistic Director.

Roundabout Theatre Company will present the national tour of ANYTHING GOES, the 2011 Tony® Award winning Broadway musical theatre masterpiece. Roundabout Theatre Company's ANYTHING GOES sets sail at Cleveland's PlayhouseSquare in October 2012. Following its opening in Cleveland, Roundabout Theatre Company's ANYTHING GOES will cruise into more than 25 other cities during the 2012/2013 season including the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles.

Huntington Theatre Company completes its 30th Anniversary Season with the world premiere of Captors by Evan M. Wiener (Monogamy) and directed by Huntington Artistic Director Peter DuBois, and Noel Coward's stylish, savvy comedy Private Lives, directed by Tony Award nominee Maria Aitken (Alfred Hitchcock's The 39 Steps).
