A friendly reminder! Performances begin tomorrow, today, October 4 for Manhattan Theatre Club's New York premiere of Vietgone, the new play by Qui Nguyen (She Kills Monsters), directed by May Adrales (Luce).

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) and the Humphreys School of Musical Theatre (HSMT) are proud to announce a unique collaboration and joint production with Kaitlin Hopkins and the Texas State University Department of Theatre and Dance to bring The World According To Snoopy, a revised version of the classic musical Snoopy!!! to the stage in February 2017.

Beginning October 1, Premiere Stages, the professional theatre company in residence at Kean University, will accept submissions for the 13th annual Premiere Stages Play Festival.  This yearly competition for unproduced scripts offers developmental and production opportunities to four playwrights with strong ties to the greater metropolitan area (New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut).

KIDS WHO CARE is proud to announce a one-night only performance of alumni Jay Armstrong Johnson's personal, eclectic solo concert on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 7:30 PM. Last seen in New York at Feinstein's/54 Below, this intimate event will arrive at the home of Kids Who Care in the W.E. Scott Theatre (1300 Gendy, Fort Worth, TX 76107). Known for his thrilling vocal prowess, Jay has wowed Broadway audiences in On The Town, Hands on a Hardbody, Hair, and Catch Me If You Can. Johnson starred opposite Emma Thompson in the New York Philharmonic's Sweeney Todd and his performance in Encores' The Most Happy Fella was hailed by The New York Times as "a standout." Television audiences know him as Dr. Will Olsen from last season in the hit ABC drama Quantico.

God isn't happy and She (that's right....She) is coming to Arizona to set the record straight in no uncertain terms about Her thinking and Her works in Emmy-winner David Javerbaum's irreverent, sinfully funny new comedy, An Act of God.

Yale Repertory Theatre, celebrating 50 years of daring artists, bold choices, and adventurous audiences, presents the world premiere of Scenes from Court Life, or the whipping boy and his prince by Sarah Ruhl, directed by Mark Wing-Davey, tonight, September 30, through October 22 at Yale University Theatre (222 York Street). Opening Night is Thursday, October 6.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre presents a new adaptation of Sinclair Lewis' novel, It Can't Happen Here.

The Old Globe today announced the cast and complete creative team for the highly acclaimed musical memoir The Lion, written and performed by award-winning songwriter Benjamin Scheuer and directed by Sean Daniels.

Long Wharf Theatre, in conjunction with The Old Globe in San Diego, presents the world premiere of Steve Martin's Meteor Shower, directed by Artistic Director Gordon Edelstein, running from tonight, September 28, through October 23, 2016. The press opening will take place on Saturday, October 8 at 8 pm.

Ayad Akhtar's Pulitzer Prize winning Disgraced has become a flashpoint of conversation. Critically-acclaimed and Tony-nominated on Broadway, produced around the world, Disgraced is about to spark debate on McCarter's Matthews Stage this October.

Rehearsals began today for the Broadway premiere of A BRONX TALE THE MUSICAL, the new musical featuring a book by Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri, music by Oscar, Grammy, and Tony Award winner Alan Menken, and lyrics by Grammy Award winner and Oscar and Tony Award nominee Glenn Slater, co-directed by two-time Oscar winner Robert De Niro and four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks, with choreography by Tony nominee Sergio Trujillo. The show is produced by Tommy Mottola, the Dodgers, and Tribeca Productions.

The new musical OCTOBER SKY at The Old Globe is inspired by the Universal Pictures film and the book Rocket Boys by Homer H. Hickam, Jr. is running through Oct. 23, 2016 at The Old Globe

After sold out runs across the country, Drew Droege (Drunk History, Bob's Burgers, and the internet's 'Chloe') returns to Los Angeles due to demand, high on the heels of a run in New York at the Barrow Street Theater, with Bright Colors And Bold Patterns at the Celebration Theatre (6760 Lexington Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90038) from September 26 through November 14, every Monday at 8pm.           

The Old Globe will celebrate A Night of Revels at the 2016 Globe Gala tonight, September 24, in support of the theatre's arts engagement and artistic programs. The annual event will feature an exclusive, one-night-only cabaret performance by Leslie Odom, Jr., the Tony Award-winning star of the Broadway smash hit musical Hamilton.

The new musical Come From Away will begin performances on Broadway on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street) and officially open Sunday, March 12, 2017, following productions at Washington DC's Ford's Theatre (Friday, September 2 - Sunday, October 16, 2016) and Toronto's Royal Alexandra Theatre (Tuesday, November 15, 2016 - Sunday, January 8, 2017), and two special benefit concert performances in Gander, Newfoundland (Saturday, October 29, 2016). There are people who eat and there are those who get eaten. This fall, Arena Stage serves up Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes, a delicious drama about family greed and betrayal. Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe nominee Marg Helgenberger, known for her 12 seasons as Catherine Willows on CBS's CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, stars as Regina Giddens under veteran director Kyle Donnelly, who has directed more than 20 productions at Arena Stage. The Little Foxes runs tonight, September 23, through October 30, 2016 in the Kreeger Theater.

San Diego Musical Theatre announced today the cast and creative team for the San Diego Regional Premiere of The Producers.
