It's time to vote! Today the Adelaide Festival Centre opens its online public vote for the exciting new Walk of Fame. South Australians can now select the next artist who will have their name set in stone as part of this ground-breaking project. The public can now vote on their favourite star from 2016.

1984 Australian Cast Announced

George Orwell's seminal novel 1984 is suddenly more relevant than ever and, in a stroke of synchronicity, the casting for the Australian tour of the West End smash hit production has been announced on the same day that a Broadway season of the production has been confirmed.

The West End smash hit adaptation of George Orwell's dystopian masterpiece 1984 will tour Australia in 2017. The Olivier Award nominated production has been seen by over 400,000 people worldwide and will play major seasons in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Perth over a four month period.

The spirit of Christmas comes alive with Adelaide's all-time favourite, Christmas Proms at Her Majesty's Theatre from 15 - 17 December. Soak up the festive spirit and be transported back to the roaring 20s featuring two of Australia's much loved performers Emma Pask and Stephen Mahy in a Great Gatsby themed Christmas celebration. Stephen will channel the young and mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby, whilst Emma takes centre stage as his quixotic passion the beautiful former debutante Daisy Buchanan.

Adelaide Festival Centre Announces Schedule for OzAsia Festival

Adelaide Festival Centre today revealed new contemporary 10 year anniversary programming for this year's OzAsia Festival which runs from 17 September - 2 October. OzAsia Festival is Australia's leading international arts festival presenting the best theatre, dance, music, film and visual arts from across Asia.  This year's program features an impressive array of performance works by contemporary Asian artists who are pioneering work in their field. Performers congregating for the Festival come from a far-reaching and diverse number of Asian countries including Japan, India, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Cambodia, United Kingdom, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Israel.

Adelaide Cabaret Festival Opens

52-STOREY TREEHOUSE Set for Dunstan Playhouse

The team behind The 13-Storey Treehouse and The 26-Storey Treehouse returns for a special live-stage family event, the Adelaide premiere season of The 52-Storey Treehouse from Tuesday 19 July to Sunday 24 July in the Dunstan Playhouse. Schools performances will be held on 25 and 26 July.
