Beginning this month, the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) will celebrate the iconic work and enduring legacy of composer Kurt Weill with an unprecedented series of events. Opening on Friday, Oct. 19, and running through Tuesday, March 12, CCM's Kurt Weill Festival will incorporate the renowned theatre composer into a broad range of both public performances and classroom exercises.

Members of The original cast of The Public Theater's critically-acclaimed musical February House will reunite at Joe's Pub tonight, October 16th at 7:00pm for an evening of song, and to celebrate the release of the official February House original cast recording (StorySound, 10.16) produced by Gabriel Kahane and Ted Sperling.

he Other Josh Cohen: The Story of One Man's Battle with Money, Heartache and Neil Diamond will host the "I Love Neil Diamond Halloweekend" for all performances October 26-30, 2012 at SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam Street). Those with tickets to The Other Josh Cohen, dressed as Neil will get a free drink, an autographed poster and a photo with the cast. And you can't wear street clothes and say you're Neil at the grocery store, either. We were lazy teenagers once, too.

The Collegiate Chorale announces its encore performance with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra of Arnold Schoenberg's Kol Nidre and Israeli composer Noam Sheriff's Mechaye Hametim (Revival of the Dead), which they performed this summer at the Salzburg Festival. The October 25 performance will be the New York premiere of Mechaye Hametim.

The Public Theater announced today that Public Theater alumna and Academy Award nominee Anne Hathaway, who played Viola in the critically acclaimed 2009 Shakespeare in the Park production of Twelfth Night, will perform a one-night-only concert, Perfectly Marvelous: The Songs of Cabaret with Anne Hathaway and Friends, on Wednesday, October 24 at 7 p.m. at Joe's Pub to celebrate and support The Public Theater's revitalization of its downtown home at Astor Place. Member tickets on sale now. Single tickets go on sale on Tuesday, October 2.

For the first time ever, regular Joe's Pub performer Justin Levine will dedicate an entire evening to his own eclectic work, which ranges from jazz to rock to gospel to the blues and more. The concert, tonight, September 24th at 9:30 p.m., will feature music from a few of his latest projects, including songs inspired by the life of Madam C.J. Walker, the first African American millionaire, and a jazz-fueled romp into the madness of Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plot.

Washington National Opera (WNO) presents American baritone Nathan Gunn in concert as part of its Celebrity Series today, September 23 at 4 p.m. in the Kennedy Center Opera House. Accompanied by the WNO Orchestra under the baton of Tony Award winner Ted Sperling, Gunn will perform selections from operas by Mozart, Rossini, and Bizet, plus songs by Sondheim and other Broadway composers.
