The hit action series STRIKE BACK will return to CINEMAX in 2014 for a fourth and final season of ten new episodes, which will shoot in Asia and Europe

STRIKE BACK: ORIGINS begins its six-episode run TONIGHT, OCT. 25 (10:00-10:50 p.m. ET/PT) on CINEMAX, marking the first time the series will be seen in the United States. Taking over the Friday-night time slot of 'Strike Back' after it completes its third season on Oct. 18, STRIKE BACK: ORIGINS stars Richard Armitage ('The Hobbit' film series, 'Robin Hood') and Andrew Lincoln ('The Walking Dead').

STRIKE BACK: ORIGINS will begin its six-episode premiere run Oct. 25 on CINEMAX, marking the first time the series will be seen in the United States, it was announced today by Kary Antholis, president, HBO Miniseries and CINEMAX Original Programming. Presented in the UK in 2010 on Sky, the show was acquired by HBO/CINEMAX from BBC Worldwide Sales and Distribution and was produced by Left Bank Pictures and Ingenious Broadcasting. Left Bank Pictures currently produces 'Strike Back' with partners CINEMAX and Sky.

The Emmy(R)-nominated breakout hit STRIKE BACK returns for its ten-episode third season FRIDAY, AUG. 9 (10:00-10:50 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on CINEMAX, followed by other episodes debuting subsequent Fridays at the same time. Based on Frank Miller's latest graphic novel Xerxes, and told in the breathtaking visual style of the blockbuster '300,' this new chapter of the epic saga takes the action to a fresh battlefield-on the sea-as Greek general Themistokles attempts to unite all of Greece by leading the charge that will change the course of the war. '300: Rise of an Empire' pits Themistokles against the massive invading Persian forces led by mortal-turned-god Xerxes, and Artemisia, vengeful commander of the Persian navy.
