Wales's recent sporting successes have enthused the nation - and none more so than singer and actress Sophie Evans. She made her name as one of the potential Dorothys in the BBC's 'Over the Rainbow' - and since then has established herself as a fine concert singer as well as regularly performing Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau as the resident anthem-leader at major sporting occasions.

The principal cast for Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games at London's Playhouse Theatre has been announced. The role of the Lord of the Dance will be played by James Keegan, Morgan Comer and brothers Cathal and Fergal Keaney, who have all been hand-picked and directed by Michael Flatley. All four have won multiple World Irish Dancing Championship titles. Sophie Evans and Rachael O'Connor will share the role of Erin the Goddess.

You Won't Succeed on Broadway if You Don't Have Any Jews is simply a joyous celebration of over 80 years of the Jewish contribution to Musical Theatre. Fresh from an opening in Tel Aviv, the London run features an all-star cast including Lloyd Daniels (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat), Sarah Earnshaw (Spamalot) and Sophie Evans (The Wizard of Oz).

Madalena Alberto, recently starring in EVITA, at the Dominion Theatre, with acclaimed reviews, will offer her solo show 'Don't Cry For Me', an intimate evening, at London's St James Studio performing songs from shows that have marked her career - including EVITA, LES MISERABLES and PIAF - accompanied by the award winner Musical Director Alfonso Casado, who recently conducted the West End productions of MISS SAIGON and LES MISERABLES.
