Berlin fans were were out in force at the Royal Festival Hall for a new retrospective marking what would have been his 125th year.

West End favourite Sophie Evans is joining an all-star cast at London's Royal Festival Hall for a celebration of the music of Irving Berlin. Ahead of the nationwide tour she spoke to BWW:UK

BWW reports on the upcoming cabaret of new songwriting by Anderson & Petty, Laura Tisdall and Christopher J. Orton with a cast of West End star vocalists at the Union Theatre on August 12 .

Now in its 15th year and run by the Society of London Theatre, Kids Week is all about encouraging young people to experience the magic of live theatre. During Kids Week a child aged 16 or under can go free to participating shows when accompanied by an adult paying full price. Up to two extra children's tickets can be purchased at half price.

The CBC will be casting Dorothy in an Andrew Lloyd Webber production of THE WIZARD OF OZ via a live TV show, Over the Rainbow. Auditions begin in June, and the show will mount in December, according to 680news.com.

Sophie Evans has just announced via her Twitter that she will be filling in Danielle Hope's ruby slippers in the West End production of The Wizard of Oz on February 7, 2012. Evans was the runner up in the BBC reality talent competition show, Over The Rainbow, which tracked Andrew Lloyd Webber's search for his new Dorothy.
