Conductor Michael Tilson Thomas concludes his season-long Perspectives series at Carnegie Hall leading two performances by the New World Symphony, both featuring fellow Perspectivesartist and longtime collaborator pianist Yuja Wang. The first program on Wednesday, May 1 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage includes the New York premiere of Julia Wolfe's Fountain of Youth (co-commissioned by Carnegie Hall as part of its 125 Commissions Project), Berlioz's Symphonie fantastique, and Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 5, with Ms. Wang.

Through the generosity of Donna MacMillan, the McCallum Theatre presents Keyboard Conversations® with Jeffrey Siegel on Monday, March 25, at 7:00pm. This evening's program, "Rags to Riches" features "Rialto Ripples," "Fascinatin' Rhythms," and "I Got Rhythm" (George Gershwin); "Wall Street Rag" (Scott Joplin); "Invitation to the Dance, Op. 65" (Carol Maria von Weber); "Polka in G Minor" (Bedrich Smetana); "Polka from The Age of Gold" (Dmitri Shostakovich); "Finale of Piano Sonata No. 1" (Alberto Ginastera); "Circus Polka" (Igor Stravinsky); "Evening in Granada" (Claude Debussy); and "Stars and Stripes Forever" (John Philip Sousa).

The Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) announces its first Relaxed Performance, the most recent addition to the TSO's acclaimed Education & Community Engagement programs, to meet the needs of neurodiverse audiences.

After announcing their new partnership in December 2018, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) and Equilibrium Young Artists (EQ) revealed today that soprano Jenavieve Moore, mezzo-soprano Jillian Bonner, tenor Charles Sy, and bass Trevor Eliot Bowes will be the featured vocal soloists in Mozart's Requiem with the TSO conducted by Sir Andrew Davis at Roy Thomson Hall in January 2020

The San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM) today announces the appointment of baritone Matthew Worth to its voice faculty. Worth will lead a full studio at SFCM beginning in Fall 2019, joining the voice department led by chair Cesar Ulloa. Worth's appointment comes just after the announcement of Rhoslyn Jones joining SFCM's faculty.

A season filled with unforgettable music, riveting stories, thrilling singers from around the world, and stirring productions goes on sale by subscription Friday, January 25, at 10am. Six new and new-to-Chicago productions including three Lyric premieres and three performances of the Ring cycle will engage and entertain audiences from late September 2019 through June 2020.

The McCallum Theatre presents Keyboard Conversations® with Jeffrey Siegel on Monday, February 11, at 7:00pm. This evening's program, "Chopin in Paris", features Waltz in A-flat Major, Op. 34, No. 1; Impromptu in A-flat Major, Op. 29; three Mazurkas; Polonaise in F-Sharp Major, Op. 44; Tarantella, Op. 43, in A-flat Major; Etude, Op. 10, No. 3 in E Major; and Polonaise in A-flat Major, Op. 53.

The month of February at the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) marks the returns of singer & conductor Barbara Hannigan, superstar cellist Alisa Weilerstein, and the National Arts Centre Orchestra. This evening's program, "Bernstein Birthday Bash," celebrates the 100th birthday of Leonard Bernstein. Featured will be excerpts from West Side Story and Candide, Bernstein's arrangements for piano of Aaron Copland's El Salon Mexico, and the solo piano version of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue.
