Award-winning Atlantic recording artist Serena Ryder has announced a U.S. summer tour run, kicking off June 10th in Portland, ME. Ryder recently released her new single, “Famous (feat. Simon Ward of The Strumbellas),” produced by GRAMMY-winning producer Dave Cobb and complimented today by a newly released Lash Remix. The single impacted Triple A radio outlets this past week, while it's video companion was praised by Refinery29 as “a genuine look at what fame means in the modern world and how social media has changed our approach to success.”

According to the BBC News, stage and screen actor Simon Ward died on July 20, 2012, after a long illness. He was 70. As reported by the BBC, 'a statement released by his agent said he passed away peacefully with his wife Alexandra and daughters at his bedside.'

According to published reports, Simon Ward, who was set to play Alfred P. Dolittle in the West End revival of PYGMALION, had to pull out of the production because of a virus. While his understudy, Brendan Hooper, will replace Ward for now, an announcement is expected to be be made later today with the news of a new actor joining the show. The show is still on track to open on May 25.
