ABC continues its commitment to world-class storytelling and new creative voices with the announcement of its 2014-15 slate of programming, including the addition of 12 new series.

We've been reporting on the buzz since January, but now Hugh Jackman is making Broadway fan's May dreams come true! It's just been officially announced that Sonia Friedman Productions will present the Royal Court Theatre production of THE RIVER, a new play by Jez Butterworth, starring Hugh Jackman, Laura Donnelly and Cush Jumbo, and directed by Ian Rickson.

Directed by Tony Award-winner Anna D. Shapiro, the new Broadway production of Of Mice and Men begins performances tomorrow, Wednesday, March 19, 2014 and will officially open on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street). According to Deadline, director Shawn Levy has enlisted Kingsley for NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 3, in which he will play an 'Egyptian pharaoh on display in the British museum, and he is revived by a magical tablet.'

Along with vocalist Aaron Lazar, Hilty will perform cherished songs like 'The Lady is a Tramp,' 'The Best is Yet to Come' and '9 to 5.' The show wouldn't be complete without beloved classics 'Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend' and 'New York, New York,' as well as popular songs of Cole Porter, Harold Arlen and music from Ms. Hilty's upcoming album.

The film, written by Audrey Wells, follows 'a father and daughter on the island of Manhattan as it breaks loose and sails across the Atlantic Ocean.'

Deadline writes that Downton Abbey's Dan Stevens is set to play the 'pivotal role' of Lancelot in NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 3, which will be set in London.

According to Deadline, the network has recruited up-and-comer Shane Coffey to star in its just-ordered drama pilot THE NOVICE from Fox21. The project is written by Joe and Tony Gayton, the creators of HELL ON WHEELS, and executive produced by the 21 Laps/Adelstein team of Marty Adelstein, Shawn Levy, and Becky Clements and New Wave Entertainment's Matt Ochacher.

The Hollywood Reporter writes that Robin Williams is in talks to reprise his role as Teddy Roosevelt in the third installment of NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM, which will begin production in February 2014.

The Golden Icon Award of this year's Zurich Film Festival goes to Hugh Jackman. The ceremony will take place tonight, September 28th at the cinema corso 1. In addition to receiving ZFF's Golden Icon Award, Jackman will present his latest film, the intense thriller PRISONERS, directed by Denis Villeneuve and co-starring Jake Gyllenhaal, which has been selected to screen in the Gala Premieres section of the Festival. Tickets for the Golden Icon Evening will be available on Septemeber 16, 2013.

The 61st edition of the San Sebastian Festival will present its Donostia Award to one of today's best known film stars, Hugh Jackman. The actor will receive the Award on September 27 prior to the special screening of the latest work in which he plays the lead, Prisoners.
