Producer Stacey Mindich has announced that tickets for the highly anticipated Broadway premiere of the original musical Dear Evan Hansen will go on sale this Sunday, June 19 at 9 AM via Telecharge.com. The musical begins previews on Monday, November 14, 2016 and will officially open at the Belasco Theatre (111 West 44th Street) on Sunday, December 4, 2016.

The American Music Theatre Project At Northwestern University presents its 2016-2017 season, featuring new musicals from award-winning writers Adam Gwon, Joshua Salzman and Ryan Cunningham, and Michael Mahler.

The Pasadena Playhouse presents South Coast Repertory's production of Sandra Tsing Loh's The Madwoman In The Volvo starring Sandra Tsing Loh, Caroline Aaron, and Shannon Holt. The production, directed by Lisa Peterson, opens tonight and plays through June 26, 2016 at The Pasadena Playhouse. The critically acclaimed production comes to The Pasadena Playhouse after its smash World Premiere at South Coast Repertory earlier this year.

Interrobang Theatre Project will conclude its 2015-16 Season, exploring “Unnatural Disasters,” with the Midwest premiere of the psychological drama THE NORTH POOL by Pulitzer Prize finalist Rajiv Joseph, directed by Co-Artistic Director James Yost*, playing May 27 – June 26, 2016 at The Athenaeum Theatre (Studio 2), 2936 N. Southport Ave. in Chicago. Niecy Nash and Betty Gilpin will be guest stars on the fourth season of Showtime Networks' critically acclaimed drama series MASTERS OF SEX.

Second Stage Theatre  will conclude the 2016 Uptown Series with the New York premiere of Lucy Teitler's ENGAGEMENTS, directed by Kimberly Senior. ENGAGEMENTS will feature JENNIFER KIM, OMAR MASKATI, ANA NOGUEIRA, MICHAEL STAHL-DAVID, and BROOKE WEISMAN . ENGAGEMENTS will begin previews on Monday, July 18th and will officially open on Thursday, August 4th. 

The Drama League announced today that Jennifer Sunshine has been appointed the company's new Development Director, beginning July 11th, 2016.  Ms. Sunshine is the final new addition to The Drama League's leadership, three of whom were announced last month: Associate Producer Travis LeMont Ballenger, Program Director Sherri Eden Barber, and Gabriel Stelian-Shanks, whose position was expanded to Executive Artistic Director.  The announcement caps a transformative season for The Drama League, in which the organization broke fundraising records, served over 3,000 artists, and celebrated its 100th anniversary.

Lookingglass Theatre Company continues its 28th Season with Thaddeus and Slocum: A Vaudeville Adventure, written by Ensemble Member Kevin Douglas, and co-directed by Ensemble Member J. ?Rhinebeck Writers Retreat is presenting a reading of the new musical, INTO THE WILD, book and lyrics by Janet Allard and music and lyrics by Niko Tsakalakos, on June 13 in New York City for an invited industry audience. INTO THE WILD is based on the acclaimed best selling book by Jon Krakauer and "Back to the Wild" by the Christopher J. McCandless Foundation.

Second Stage Theatre will begin the 2016 Uptown Series with the world premiere of Sofia Alvarez's FRIEND ART, directed by Portia Krieger. FRIEND ART will feature ZOE CHAO, AARON COSTA GANIS, ANABELLE LEMIEUX and Tony Award nominee CONSTANTINE MAROULIS (Rock of Ages, 'American Idol'). FRIEND ART will officially open on Thursday, May 26th.

Philadelphia Theatre Company announces the election of playwright Terrence McNally and Broadway producer Tom Kirdahy to its Board of Directors. In their roles as newly-created Artists Board Members, McNally and Kirdahy will add a national artistic perspective to the Board's fiscal decision-making.

Promethean Ensemble Theatre will enter its second decade with three plays that view characters and stories of the past through the eyes of modern playwrights. Leading off the season in December will be Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde, Moises Kaufman's 1997 biographical play about playwright Oscar Wilde's 1895 trials and ultimate conviction for the crime of homosexuality. Promethean Theatre Ensemble Artistic Director Brian Pastor will direct.
