Nine theater artists will be honored by the Henry Hewes Design Awards Committee during the presentation of its 46th Annual Awards in a luncheon ceremony this fall. Eighty-one theater artists were nominated for outstanding artistry in 46 productions presented during the 2009-2010 New York theater season. RACE, 'the topical detective story' (New York Times) that 'sizzles with energy' (The Wall Street Journal), written and directed by David Mamet will end its extended run on Broadway at the Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th St.) on Saturday, August 21st at 8:00 pm.
