Goodspeed's RAZZLE DAZZLE Gala to Honor Sheldon Harnick, Today

Goodspeed Musicals is delighted to announce that Tony, Grammy and Pulitzer Prize winner Sheldon Harnick will be the latest recipient of The Goodspeed Award for Outstanding Contribution to Musical Theatre. Over the years Mr. Harnick's work has been represented on the Goodspeed stage with Fiorello! (1985), She Loves Me (1978), The Apple Tree (1999), and this summer's 50th Anniversary production of Fiddler on the Roof at the Goodspeed Opera House. The award will be presented by longtime friend and star of stage and screen, two time Tony Award-winner Tony Roberts (Broadway's Promises, Promises; They're Playing Our Song; Victor/Victoria; Cabaret).

Pontine Theatre to Present First Annual Portsmouth Puppet Festival, 6/14-15

June 14 and 15, Pontine Theatre presents the first annual Portsmouth Puppetry Festival at the West End Studio Theatre. The schedule of events includes Soloman & Ashmedal by Peaks Island Puppets at 2pm today 14 June, Mano-a-Monolog by Andrew Periale at 7pm today 14 June, Jester Kings of Java by Figures of Speech's Ian Bannon at 2pm on Sunday 15 June, and The Magic Soup and Other Stories by Puppet Showplace Theatre's Resident Artist, Brad Shur, at 7pm on Sunday 15 June.
