Good Theater to Close Season with Streisand Revue HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN

Good Theater, the professional theater in residence at the St. Lawrence Arts Center, 76 Congress Street, Portland, will close its 13th season with HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN - Streisand's 60's Songbook. The show is created and directed by Brian P. Allen, Good Theater's Artistic Director. It stars Lesley McKinnell a veteran of the national tour of Wicked where she played the leading role of Glinda. Victoria Stubbs is the musical director/arranger and pianist for the show.

2014 marks Queens Theatre's 25th Anniversary Season which coincides with the 50th and 75th anniversaries of the 1939 and 1964 World's Fairs. In celebration Queens Theatre will produce THE WORLD?S FAIR PLAY FESTIVAL (WFPF), a presentation of ten original ten-minute plays inspired by the 1939 and 1964 World?s Fairs. Both World?s Fairs brought families, friends and total strangers together from around the country and across the world to experience a vision for the future in performances, exhibitions and art. The Theaterama, in which Queens Theatre is housed, is one of only three buildings constructed for the 1964 World's Fair that is still standing.

Moss and Urbinati join The Private Theatre Managing Members, Summer Crockett Moore, Cheryl Dennis, Lucy Di Rosa, Tony Glazer, Salomé M. Good Theater Receives Davis Family Foundation Grant

Good Theater has received a $5,000 grant from the Davis Family Foundation to assist with the upcoming production of DEATH BY DESIGN. DEATH BY DESIGN will receive its East Coast premiere at Good Theater opening January 30 and running through February 24. New York playwright, Rob Urbinati, is the author of DEATH BY DESIGN.
