Concert for America: Stand Up, Sing Out! brought together artists from Broadway, TV and beyond to spread a message of unity and hope yesterday afternoon at Town Hall. The first concert in the monthly series raised more than $100,000 to benefit the NAACP, Planned Parenthood, Southern Poverty Law Center, National Immigration Law Center, and the Sierra Club Foundation.

For the second time, the Broadway at Birdland concert series welcomed internet sensation Randy Rainbow on the historic stage, this time with his Pre-Inaugural Situation. The show was awash in political parodies, news updates, outrageous humor, non-partisan insults and special guests, including Ryan Raftery, Molly Pope and Brian Nash, Gerard Salvador, and Hannah Rose DeFlumeri. The Broadway at Birdland concert series presented internet sensation Randy Rainbow hosting a Pre-Inaugural Situation at the historic music room last night and BroadwayWorld was there.

2016 is nearly behind us, and as our dear friend Glinda would say: THANK. GOODNESS. With less than 12 hours on the clock for the this disaster of a year, Randy Rainbow is asking us all to look forward, for the 2017 Broadway season will soon be here! Come March, we'll be drowning in the onslaught of opening after opening and biting our nails while pressing refresh on a Google search for New York Times reviews, but right now, everything seems possible and full of hope. Well, maybe not for the guy Randy met who left Hamilton before the opening number was finished. Yeah, he exists. As BroadwayWorld previously announced, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF will play its final performance today at 2:00 p.m. At the time of closing, Fiddler on the Roof will have played a total of 464 performances.

The limited engagement, New York Premiere of WHITE RABBIT RED RABBIT began performances on March 7.
